Till the sea faded

Geologically, Places where take up only small parts of the continental margin or oceanic crust called The Sea. The sea always coexists with the land. They interact with and rely on each other. The junction between land and see forms unique landscape in the perennial collision with the sea and under the erosion by various external forces, formed this unique landscape. The junction always comes with confrontation and balance, which creates a perfect natural balance.

Land is regarded as a carrier for materialization and carved into shapes in this collision. The carving process is so long that it has become relatively static in human’s perception. Staring at this place is like staring at still time itself. This interaction continues nearly forever until the seawater disappears.

The author tries to portray a confrontational and balanced relationship between rivers, lakes, sea and the land between the images. The images are strung together by the sea level and unfolded in the horizontal space between left and right; through the various sections of the space where different rivers and land meet, they are constructed into an imaginary new landscape that does not exist.
