Weirong Wang was born in 1995. Graduated from Shenzhen University in 2017. From 2018 to 2019, he studied at Tokyo University of the Arts. 2020 studied at Tokyo College of Photography. His works have been exhibited in Japan's Forest Gallery,Reminders photography stronghold gallery,Tokyo University of the Arts,Three-shadows Xiamen, China Boomer Gallery, London, LISHUI Photography Festival and many other places.
He focuses on personal artistic creation, working mainly in photography and installation. At present, he explores new possibilities of photography through the combination of photography and other media and researches the emotional expression and narrative ability of images. Now work as a curator at Shanghai.
王伟戎，是一名基于摄影图像的艺术创作者、写作译者、策展人。毕业于深圳大学后，就读于东京艺术大学先端艺术研究科。2020年开始从事摄影及策展和翻译等工作。2024第六届IDPA无像摄影样书奖，年度最佳摄影样书奖获得者。作品曾在日本REMINDERS PHOTOGRAPHY STONGHOLD画廊、FORESTGallery、东京艺术大学、武汉影像艺术中心、厦门三影堂、丽水摄影节等多处展出。他过往的艺术实践主要涉及摄影与其他媒介的结合，现成图像的再创作，档案和记忆的的思考；探究后真相时代下图像档案与现实之间错综复杂的关系。
