Wang Weirong
Born in Shenzhen, Guangdong, he graduated from Shenzhen University before pursuing advanced studies at the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts. He is an art creator specializing in photographic imagery, as well as a writer, translator, and curator. His past artistic practice primarily explores photography and cross-media experimentation, social investigation, archival research, and the reappropriation of found images. Recently, he has been dedicated to researching hypothetical image narratives, the fictive nature of memory and archives, and the power dynamics between image archives and reality in the post-truth era.

Wang Weirong was awarded the Kunpeng Award in the PIP China Young Photographers Promotion Project in 2025, and received both the Sixth IDPA PhotoBook Award and the Annual Best PhotoBook Award in 2024. His works have been exhibited at numerous venues, including REMINDERS PHOTOGRAPHY STRONGHOLD and FOREST Gallery in Japan, Tokyo University of the Arts, Wuhan Image Art Center, Three Shadows Photography Art Centre in Xiamen, Fantcommunity in Chengdu, A4 International Art Residency Centre, Pingyao International Photography Festival, and Lishui Photography Festival.



王伟戎

出生于广东深圳,毕业于深圳大学后,就读于东京艺术大学先端艺术研究科。是一名基于摄影图像的艺术创作者、写作译者、策展人。他过往的艺术实践主要涉及摄影与跨媒介尝试,社会调查、档案检索以及现成图像的再创作等。近期致力于研究假设性图像叙事,记忆与档案的虚构性,后真相时代下图像档案与现实之间的权力关系。

于2025年获得PIP中国青年摄影推广计划鲲鹏奖,2024获得第六届IDPA无像摄影样书奖,年度最佳摄影样书奖。作品曾在日本REMINDERS PHOTOGRAPHY STONGHOLD画廊、FORESTGallery、东京艺术大学、武汉影像艺术中心、厦门三影堂、成都幻社、A4国际艺术驻留中心、平遥摄影节、丽水摄影节等多处展出。
